Cy Ridge Coaching History

Gary Theibaud

2004-Present

Tied for the second longest tenure as a head coach and one of only two head coaches in Cy Fair ISD football to remain with a school since their opening, Gary Theibaud has overseen every high and low point of the Cy Ridge football program. The high points reached their peak for Theibaud in the midst of the Russell Sheppard era, as the Rams rifled off five straight playoff appearances from 2006 to 2010. Average finishes have come off since however, with a series of 6-4 and 5-5 regular season records before a rebuilding phase hit Theibaud and his staff in 2014, which was slightly improved upon with a 4-6 finish the following year. In his 12 seasons at the helm however, Theibaud’s won 55% of the games he’s coached, a number that won’t see him going anywhere anytime soon.
