Social media graphics are by far our most popular ad bloc. With a design that’s much more aesthetically pleasing than just plain text and the ability of social media to rapidly spread news by “retweets” or “shares,” these graphics are seen by an average of 400,000-500,000 people per month at their peak during football season, and by about 100,000-200,000 people per month during the rest of the year. Each social media post including a graphic will also include “Brought to you buy (company)” as well to further bring awareness to your brand.

Website banner ads and links are our second most popular way to. advertise. Since we often use social media to push our brand, the website has slightly fewer visitors that Twitter and Facebook can produce, but still generate a lot of eyeballs thanks to content we publish there. Your logo and brand would get a block on our homepage and in a sidebar on the rest of the website. In addition to the imaging, we can also make it clickable to redirect viewers to your website or landing page with more information. Just like the social media graphics, the amount of visitors to the website varies depending on the sport (200,000-250,000 for football and 50,000-100,000 the rest of the year), and the offseason period in the summer.

New for 2019, we’re offering a chance for a company to become our official title sponsor. Set on a first come, first serve basis, our title sponsor would get their branding along side all Varsity Wires branding, including logos, graphics, social media, print, and otherwise. Certain aspects of branding would also be presented as “Varsity Wires presented by (Company).” Due to its larger fee, year-round payment plans are available.


WHAT TO EXPECT / FAQs
Every advertiser will be presented with a Written Agreement Form, outlining the terms of the agreement including where branding will be placed, cost, and commitments required by both the advertiser and Varsity Wires. This agreement will also require signatures from both the advertiser and Varsity Wires representatives, and copies will be distributed to each party. Additional copies are available upon request.

We understand that some advertisers may want exclusivity to their particular industry (i.e., a realtor may want to be the only realty company to advertise as to get a leg-up on their competition). While we understand it from a business standpoint, we also recognize that closing the door on other options in an industry could cost Varsity Wires revenue as well. Therefore, we require a 15% Exclusivity Fee based off the month-to-month cost. This is purely on a first-come, first-serve basis and is completely optional. We prohibit breaking any existing agreements to enforce a new request for exclusivity.

Payment plans and discounts are available and negotiable when purchasing multiple months, even when not explicitly stated in the above plans.

In the event an advertiser wishes to terminate a long-term agreement, a 15% cancellation fee and buyout will be required on the remaining term and balance if all requirements have been met by Varsity Wires. All other money except the 15% fee will be refunded in full.

In the event an agreement is reached to advertise in the middle of a month, that month will be prorated to its current date.
